Newbie saying hi, couple questions

I just bought a 95 300zx non-turbo, five speed with 124k on it. I will post pictures tomorrow if anyone is interested? Couple questions?

 

Anything I need to know about this car?

 

When I am driving the temperature gauge goes from about halfway and bottoms out rapidly and repeatadly especially when I give it gas.

 

Were should the oil pressure gauge rest?

 

What kind of gas mileage am I going to get being on the highway 90% of the time doing about 70.

 

Anything anybody can tell me about the car or if anyone has one that is located in Ft. Worth Texas that knows there stuff really well!!

    First of all nobody know everything about these cars not even Nissan LOL

    Check your water level and sensor wiring on sender for temp gauge.

     

    Oil pressure varies from cold to warm, at what temp ? with ignition off it rests off the gauge.

     

    Cruising at that speed you should expect between 20 and 25 mpg ! If your good. Welcome by the way :hyper:
