The A38 goes fron Derby straight to PJ's in Bristol, though its quicker on the motorway. Aim for the M5, which you can get on by driving on the derby to Manchester road id need be then onto the M6 at manchester, then onto M5 easy.

My advise is follow the M1 down till it turns into the M42 (signposted birmingham) then keep going till it splits off onto the M5 West. Keep going West and south on the M5

 

Then follow the maps below hon... (oh and the final map the blue road that you come off is the M5)

Nah, the M42 splits off onto the M6 AND the M6 Toll but you just keep sticking to the M42 all the way round Brum till you get to the M5 the pick M5 South/West (i think its signposted wales) minding the new speed traps (big variable speed limits with cameras attached every 500 yards) then you stick on that all the way down heading to Bristol. You could even join our convoy for the last bit if you timed it right we'll be here again coming from the M5 on the left the blue road)....

not sure about time scales i will be setting off early though to avoid queing when i get to the show

Give yourself 5 hours to be sure, should take about 4 hours 20 from sheffield

Make sure you all use Junction 18 off the M4, you should avoid some traffic that way, I think all the scoobys are being directed to use Junction 17 :eek:
