Why when i set up a local multiplayer game on our network only me and my brother are playing and there are no computer players???

 

we are both up to date and running the same serial number.

 

I remember playing a long time ago Battlefield 1942 on a network and there were lots of computer players, how come i don't haver any?

 

Also what is the Euro patch all about?

 

Oh i'm running patch 1.22

jump on with us, jump in a squad with us. Every1 in the clan is sound, good bunch of lads. we all know what its like to be new to a game :)

 

the key to surviving if u play solo is to use buildings, tress anything u can find as cover. even doorways are very good cover points. i find a good tactis is to move from place to place, go prone, have a look round then run to the next spot. if u THINK there is sum1 nearby lob a couple of grenades there, they have a good blast radius. also try putting c4 near flags, when the flag goes white, blow the c4, easy kills and easy flag defend points :)

have u got any unlocks yet?

nope havn't got any unlocks not even sure how to unlock things i've only played it online a couple of times.

 

I like being the commander and airstriking.

unlocks are weapons that u can get, they are extra's. you get them by going up in ranks. u go up in ranks by scoring points. for these to count you HAVE to play on RANKED servers

 

points = new weapons.

 

first set of unlocks is 800 or 1000 points i think, go to BFHQ in bf2 to see your score :)

 

commanding is a fulltime job and prob the most difficult thing to do. i normally command for clan games. jump on a ranked server m8 and have fun, once u get into it its the best game in the world :)

I'm a Commander whore, last few nights I've been maxing it up as 'The Commander' and won another two medals! LOL :D

 

Just love taking out the Apaches and the Phalinx/Seawolf on the carriers...cracks me up. :rofl:

I'm downloading patch 1.22 full patch and 1.3 as a small update as i can't get the full one the ques are heptic.

Ive not been on much recently but got a head set now"plantronics" but i got no one to talk to !!

Pushing the button to talk is a real pisser, is there away round it ?

As im still relativly new at the game by the time found the B button usually been been killed ! ?

Wow that patch was great, loads of computer players to kill. I'm going to buy Special Forces addon today.

 

I tried player online last night on a ranked server. killed about 5 people purely by luck they are all so good.
