Ok, on a morning or just basically when the car is cold, ill fire it up but then the revs keep dropping, often cutting out (stalling) when ever the clutch is down or not in gear, also cant get the engine to idle correctly.

Does anyone know what this might be?

Perhaps an air leak???

Let me know what you all think

sounds like an air leak mate , if u cant get a solid idle. can u hear any hissing either when the clutch is pressed or before ?

Mate save up some cash and get to one of the traders garages on here to sort out that f*cking poor excuse of a zed youve got.

I'm not having a go at you bud I really do feel sorry for you with all the bad luck you've had. But really. Get it to a good Zed garage and get it fixed propperly.

Finding idle problems on the zed is a bit of a needle-haystack scenario (unless you have a conzult), dodgy idle can be anything from ECU temp sensor, air leak, IAAC valve, TPS, autobox oil or PTU. Both my zeds have similar idle probs to yours, best bet is as TMTP suggests- get it to a specialist they'll probably sort it out in minutes.

walk it must be more reliable, or get the bus that definately is

or even taxis £5275 would probably have got you further.

You've spent £5275 repairing your car and it's still not running right!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headvswal

Either get it trailered down to a decent Zed garage or get rid.
