It wont do anything.

 

There is however a metal tab on the throttle linkages, that restricts the throttle valves opening fully. A forum search for "Throttle mod" should find plenty of info on it.

hmm interesting reading but doesnt seem that anyone has got quantitative evidence that it does anything or not? Think i might leave this one with mr nissans technical mind and leave the screw as is...

 

(that is until someone proves that it does add power :mac1: )

Smithys car made more power on the dyno with it in its original position and the mixture also moved leaner and had to be corrected.

I'd guess the angle on the plates directs the air into the plenum in a way that leads to more even distribution to the runners.
