I know there aint a lot of idiots on here and most are not likely to fall for stupid scams but anyway i thought I would warn you about this.....

I got an E Mail from "NatWest" Only it wasnt them? Its a scam and if you get it either phone natwest or delete it. I contacted them this morning and they said it was a new one.

They are asking for your help as usual to update the information they have?

Is this ever going to stop? What a world we have created full of scammers and thieves. Its very scary as everything is steering towards using internet banking and credit transfers more now than ever to send money.

You have been warned.... ;)

I use natwest online banking and it warns about this. Thieving w**kers, if they've got time to come up with these scams, why not just get a job!

Yeah there is a 'Chase bank', 'ebay', and 'Paypal' email scams too. They send a email with exactly the same format and layout as the real thing. The IP's of the dodgey websites i have clobbered a few times with IP packet floods and other hacker methods. Most of them use Russian or Chinese Internet Service Providers.

Scumbags!

why would anyone believe that. Natwest never even take an email address, all correspondance is by post.

I had Barclays, Halifax, netwest and city bank at the same time and they all looked the same, the scamers can't be part of the smart club.

I have had the Ebay ones and got one of those dodgy Dutch ones thru the post once.

If i send X amount of money i will get 500 grand.looked quite proffesional!

I took it to the Police and they wernt interested.

Some old dear would probably reply to it tho
