bp is the most expensive petrol station ive ever used.

shell optimax in an independent review scored the highest score out of all of the fuels for performance gain ect,. tesco 99 ron is good aswell. i would stick to those and avoid bp imo of course.

My engine - jap TT ran a little rough when i used BP Ultimate. Might be coicidence but engine is sweet as running Optimax.

Standard bp ultimate has a 97 RON, shell has 98 right? So the shell is closer to the Japan RON. Don't really know how much the single RON difference will effect it though. Especially if its Ron Corbett.

The guy I bought mine from said that it was set up to use regular Unleaded, so I started using that. I found that the car stuttered when boosting sometimes so I decided to go for Tesco Ron99, after 2 tanks, that problem had stopped.

Then I got on this website, read a similar thread to this, started filling up with Optimax and after 3 tanks of that the car is running even better ;)
