thought i would make this to help any future players

1) get a Decent headset, this is SOOOO important when playing. most of my clan us the Plantronics DSP 500. Awesome headset. ideal for gaming and using teamspeak

2) Set ur kjeys up properly, this is also very important, i ahve prone on my mouse buttnon and heli flying set to inverted on the mouse

3) Pick a class that ur squad needs NOT what u want to play

This is the only way to play as a squad, if u ahve 2 medics and a enginner then go anti tank on maps with armour or assualt or support on city maps

4) unlocks

When picking unlocks spread them along diff classes so u will get the most out of them incase u ahve to switch classes in close games

5) Do what ur ordered to do

When u get a order please do it, nothing more annoying then giving a sqaud a order to get a flag and them foook off else where, its all about team work in this game :)

6) Learn the maps

THE most popular map in BF2 is Strike at Karkand, Brillant map that will test ur skills in city fighting :)

7) learn to fly

A Must this 1, nothing more annoying than seeing sum1 use the attack chopper and crash it 5 secs later, learn to fly them and get some kills with them :)

8) stick with the Squad

U will have a much higher chance of not being killed and taking flags staying 2gether, but watch out for tanks and grenades

learn to have fun as well, way too many people take this game seriously, we play competivly but if we know we are gona lose out come the knifes lol

Yeah I've got Xfire, not messed with it yet though. Will have a play around tonight and see if I can see ya. ;) Be warned though, me and my Bro in our own squad are a force to be reckoned with! LOL :D Especially seeing as I get so cocky in the Apache's that the odd palm tree has been know to cause my demise.

yo dude, ive just bought a logitech joystick, with force feedback but i cant get the force feedback to work.

any ideas how to set it up??

the game does not support force feedback m8

i have the saitek cyborg evo and its the same sort of thing

u should be able to test the forces, go to control panel, then go to other devices i think it is and u can test them in there, i can anyway :)

Mark interesting you should say that, my fooker doesn't work. I've tried loading the settings from various sites on the web but I think it's faulty, it works for about 5 mins then it's not working! My Bro has a Logitech wired joystick and that works fine, I find that mine being wireless is OK for a few minutes and then loses the plot...p1sses me off!

have u tried installing the drivers from the CD you got?

90% of games dont support forcefeedback, makes you wonder why they even made the bloody thing lol

i have the wired version and never had a prob, u got anything that might interfer with it?

i have a Logictech MX1000 mouse and sumtimes i get interference and thats down to it being near speakers or power cables etc

might be a idea to get the wired version m8?

Cheers Mark, yeah I was toying with the idea of getting the Logitech one like my Bro's but I would feel guilty coz my Mrs bought the Saitek one for Crimbo! So for now I am more a chopper pilot that a jet guy.
