£168 a set for a carlton gsi 24v

What make were they?

I had magnacor on my Old Cosworth and also on my Carlton GSi 24v, cant remeber excact costs, but both sets were over £100 each.

Magnacor get great reviews over on the VX forum. They cost about £150ish for an MV6, cheaper than Vx and better by all accounts.

I think the splitfire ones are meant to be good??

I had them on my rs turbo, werent very well suppressed you could hear them humming on the radio, although you just turn the radio up to drown them out.

i remember back in the day max power did some test on leads (all done on a r/r) and the ones that came out top where the shitty orange univeral ones you can buy just about anywhere, cant remember the names of them though. think harrys flog em.

When I had my engine built and with all the supporting mods it made sense to bin the stock ecu and go for a full competition after market engine management system, here is a small list that system replaces and what we have removed.
