Hia mate, i was going to post today, maybe i still will.

 

Basically because of the engine not coming when it should have it cause the work to be delayed stupidly, it will be done by tonight though, he had it runing yesterday night, but

there is apparently a rattle :headvswal

And its idling at around 3000 revs instead of 750 :headvswal

 

Im just praying that there is nothing wrong with this engine.

Sometimes the lifters drain of oil over time and they need to fill back up, this may be allmost instant or my take a run to get them full.

 

If it is that then she'll be right mate

You havent had much luck with it but sods law will pay you back later im sure..

That noise is probably the lifters ... My engine makes a similar noise when first started after the winter lay up. Soon goes, so don't worry. :)

:rofl: ,thing is its like a soap opera,"stay tuned for next weeks instalment"feel for him,i hope its all ok this time,a lot of us on here have had at some time had the down times owning these cars,and feel like giving up,think he is taking it in good spirit at moment,fingers crossed for you bird.Will defo pop in later to read the news.
