anyone using this new free broadband, or does anyone know owt about it

seems good british gas trying to push it on to me, but im using wanadoo already, they are offering 2mb at most places but up to 8mb broadband for free. Not really looked into just yet but can not be too bad for free

im on aol at the moment

a mate of mine asked me to check it for him to swop to

as he uses pipex and only uses the internet for browsing

so bit expensive for what he wants

lol funny thing is his wife signed them up to talk talk phone package and he didnt know, so deffo best for him

it aint exactly FREE broadband but better option for him

only downside i could see is d/l was limited to 40gig which again didnt bother him, he did ring talk talk and there is gonna be a backlog, so best to get in now and get your name down

im just thinking about it at the moment, i only use the web for this site, chunks site and the odd porn site lol, so not suer if i would benefit

You sign up to there phone line plan, i:e you pay them for your line rental not B.T £11 per month

 

You then sign up to thier talk 3 plan, you get free local and national calls anytime (excluding 0845,0870, and another but can't remember it) £9.99 per month this also give you free international calls to a list of countries

 

You then are entiteled to free broadband upto 8 mb with a 40gb download limit.

 

So all in all it should only cost you £20.99 per month, all you pay for is land line to mobile numbers.
