Just seen this on Ebay and have noticed (for the 1st time) a twin turbo with an N/A front bumper. Looked at the engine picture and it looks to have the plenum cover of the TT (Red Strip) but then looked at the interior pic and doesnt seem to have the turbo boost gauge. :confused:

 

Any ideas whether a TT or N/A?

seems to be a few trying to pass them off as tt's at moment. iv asked him about it so awaiting reply!!

Yup no guage and the engine shot is really tight so you cant see additional pipes, pretty suspect.

This might sound thick???

And yes there does seem to be a few going about trying to sell N/A's as TT's.

But that pic is deffo no TT, I have a NA and proud to have one.

You have to ask yourself is that ploke stoopid or does he know what he is doing, if no reply contact Flea-Bay.

A: it is a turbo trust me

Everything on it points to NA (Bumper, Clocks, no Twin turbo badge on engine) and he's cut the engine pic in so tight you can't tell how many Pipes it has.

 

All a bit suspicious.

ive asked him if he has any way of proving its a TT, hes also now added that its been a write off

blatant blagger...ask him to put up some pics of the turbos and explain why there is no boost guage!!

He has now changed his advert for all the worriers out there.lol

 

For all the worriers out there it has no boost gauge for reasons unknown to me, as for the front bumper being N/A it probably is but this car is definetly a twin turbo, if you are not happy with this then please dont bid on a car that you are not 100% happy with, Also bumper needs replacing anyway as in original discription.

He has now put up a picture of the full engine bay ... looks like the same bay to me and it does have the other pipes ...

Accident repair sounds likely, the panel and headlamp alignment in the front view shot is all over the place.

It says its was a Cat C write-off by last owner in 2002

Its possible someone has done an engine conversion (maybe when it was fixed back in 2002) to the car but forgot about the rest of the TT parts.

i.e: boost gauge, bumper etc.. I'm thinking that he might not even have any intercoolers. :slap: :nelson:
