as most will know im getting new engine in over the weekend.

I have just been told that the rad is also fooked, something else that llewmonster had apparently just had replaced in november before i bought the car :headvswal

Cheeky little fooker was on here the 28thj of march, probably laughing his a$$ off

So now i need a new rad as well.

My question is . . .

The car was an auto TT, this has been converted to a manual, the engine that i am getting is from a manual jap spec (as far as i know that is).

So what rad do i need to buy? do i get a j-spec one and will it fit? or must i get a uk one?

Also the oil cooler was fooked so we have just got rid of it and blocked off the piped etc, apparently, im not too sure as i didn't do it but my mechanic doesn't think it really comes in to play with me not taking it on tracks or anything.

Im so pi$$ed off at the minute about this.

Any help would be appreciated

I will have a UK TT one available this weekend if its what you need. I am changing mine for a koyo so the one in the car now has no leaks.

uk and j spec fit the same, only differance is the uk radiators have a stupid oil cooler pipework design, but both auto or manual j spec or uk will fit each other,if you buy an auto rad and yours is manual obviously you just dont use the cooler feeds

na wont fit TT though

chin up mate, im having serious issues with my z at the moment too, everything that can go wrong does go wrong!

in the past month ive had to replace turbos, do head gaskets thanks to stuck thermostat, then find out heads had cracked, get new heads, do hg gaskets again, now im still getting bubbles in the water from it, my rad popped yesterday because of pressure build up.

A UK spec radiator will have a slightly larger surface area, but they will all fit into a manual car.

You should really get an engine oil cooler, especially if you're planning driving around this summer ....

Bugger!-just asking cos' if you were having a recon lump I wouldn't dream of using a used rad, or at the very least having it checked.

Good luck mate like.
