As title says guys the Scottish meeting will next be on the 23rd of April. As the previous poll only received 5 votes total with 3 of them being from Dundee. Its a pretty obvious meeting location (although I would have liked to get out of Dundee and visit some other places).

 

I have came up with a plan of action:

 

12:00 Meet at Dundee Airport Car Park. Usual chatting, looking at each others cars and pictures taken. Good spot for this. Easy to find, if heading from Perth to Dundee, take right at roundabout on entrance to Dundee. Carry all the way along this road and you cant miss it on the right hand side near River Tay.

 

14:00-14:30 Convoy tour around Dundee. I have prepared a little schedule though and around Dundee. I was wanting to take everyone to the likes of Unicorn and Discovery but speed bumps wont suit all. We will drive past them though. In total it should only be about 10 miles (I will check this next time I am home) and 45 mins taking it easy. There will be no bad roads for low cars as I know the roads pretty well from having a stupidly kitted out Fiat.

 

15:15ish Arrive at Camperdown Retail Park where we could have the choice of the following food:

 

- Weavers Mill, buy one get one meal all day long (full menu). Good food, lots of choice and cheap.

- Ashoka Shak, indian food always promoting deals. Apparently nice but never been in.

- McDonalds and KFC, no intro necessary :rolleyes:

 

What does everyone think of the plan? It is still flexible so if anyone wants to change any of it let me know. I dont mind whichever way we do it for food, we could all sit together in any of the places or get takeaways from one of the 2 fastfood retailers. Or another option is to go to Kinsway West Retail park where the choice is Burger King or Pizza Hut.

basicly the same as you but mine is a lwb i dont have an afc i also run nitrous (sometimes) if you look on crail's website under the times sec look for march 5th 2005 under unlimited class you will see the times.

what sort of shot of nos were you running? i was thinking of running a 100 shot but not sure wether it will go bang,lol

Scotty did you manage to get a stand for us?? I am looking forward to the meeting, I am gonna take it on the track too to see what the car gets with standard boost and a couple of basic mods before I turn it up.

Nice1 m8 I have still to meet Ronnie, spoken to him over the phone when I dropped his seats off. We will need to meet up sometime. Ashley and myself didnt put a bid in for that house cos the construction was dodgy, probably wouldnt have been allowed to mortgage it anyway.

 

Did the new solenoid arrive? I am going to be giving the car a little service on Sunday if you wanna come down and have a wee nosey. Just checking oils and levels and replacing some more hoses and all clips that look a bit suspect. May even do my boot install while I am there.

No sign of the valve as yet Andy tells me he's getting another car to brake this week coming. Sunday will prob be devoted my two boys and choc e.g keeping sticky paws off cars and house :)

I have tried various jet sizes between 140 and 50 the higher shots would slip the clutch in 3rd + 4th, car seems happy with a 60-75.

if you go for a bigger shot make sure your timing is not above base or it will go bang in a big way, i have had nos for 2 years now the only time it caused a prob was a backfire that blew an intercooler apart but that was my fault.

Sounds very similiar to what happened to BrakeDust300. Showed me the performance meter thing he had and the boost as at 33psi because of the problem.

 

Should be a good showdown with the higher power Zs. Mines will be on 9psi but I am gonna take it on to see if I get any decent times.

The car will be ready for the ussc qualifier on the 27th of may, this will allow time to set-up the car how as intended.

i might be able to make this now,i will find out after 4pm today,i drove straight over a kirb in glasgow at 1:30am :wack: (cant see a thing at night with my headlights)i have had the wheels knocked back out to shape but its going in to check the suspension etc today,if alls well i will be there.

ok guys, according to the folks at Crail, there is no need to have a plot reserved. Banzai isnt one of the biggest events so the best idea is to get there nice and early and get a good spot near the 1/4 mile. We done the same thing last year but unfortunately only 4 zeds turned up.

 

Oh, and its the old firm on Sunday so i wont be able to make this one. :headvswal
