As title says guys the Scottish meeting will next be on the 23rd of April. As the previous poll only received 5 votes total with 3 of them being from Dundee. Its a pretty obvious meeting location (although I would have liked to get out of Dundee and visit some other places).

 

I have came up with a plan of action:

 

12:00 Meet at Dundee Airport Car Park. Usual chatting, looking at each others cars and pictures taken. Good spot for this. Easy to find, if heading from Perth to Dundee, take right at roundabout on entrance to Dundee. Carry all the way along this road and you cant miss it on the right hand side near River Tay.

 

14:00-14:30 Convoy tour around Dundee. I have prepared a little schedule though and around Dundee. I was wanting to take everyone to the likes of Unicorn and Discovery but speed bumps wont suit all. We will drive past them though. In total it should only be about 10 miles (I will check this next time I am home) and 45 mins taking it easy. There will be no bad roads for low cars as I know the roads pretty well from having a stupidly kitted out Fiat.

 

15:15ish Arrive at Camperdown Retail Park where we could have the choice of the following food:

 

- Weavers Mill, buy one get one meal all day long (full menu). Good food, lots of choice and cheap.

- Ashoka Shak, indian food always promoting deals. Apparently nice but never been in.

- McDonalds and KFC, no intro necessary :rolleyes:

 

What does everyone think of the plan? It is still flexible so if anyone wants to change any of it let me know. I dont mind whichever way we do it for food, we could all sit together in any of the places or get takeaways from one of the 2 fastfood retailers. Or another option is to go to Kinsway West Retail park where the choice is Burger King or Pizza Hut.

Yeah definately. I will be taking plenty of photos, but need someone with a decent video camera. Ill definately take some more vids on mine but they aint much good, not sure if we get sound on it too.

 

Maybe next time though Mark, plus I like your colour a lot

should be able to make it, sounds good. bit of a distance for me but you gotta take the rough with the smooth.

 

will take some vid onboard car etc.. and some pics so hopefully there'll be a wealth of media for the Z masses to gander at.

 

would like to know what sort of turnout to expect though.. think there was 11 or 13 last time?

There will be a guy coming round in a Subaru WRX for some pics and info on some of the cars for his website. Some of you may know him through other clubs. Gordon from Kirriemuir. Good guy.

sorry dave,just checked and your right,its the 4th of may for USSC qualifiers,although crail would be a great meeting point for me lol,i should be running my first outing with the intercoolers and NOS :D ,better get AA cover too :x:

I reckon you should get the time you are wanting with the next couple of mods. Probably get it at this, gives you time to prepare for the USSC also.

OK The meeting is now changed to hopefully promote more interest. Scottywill will be arranging a stand within the Crail airfield to which we can all meet. I will go up early so that there is someone there for the rest of us.

 

Still not sure if I will be on the strip. I am hopeful to get a boost controller and powermeter. If I do and all fits OK I should come on.

 

Once this meeting is done and dusted, Scottywill can gladly take back over from me as I was just filling in his slot (oooh errr missus :mac1: ).

well i'll defo go as I missed crail last weekend due to my blowing exhaust so i'll weld that at the weekend.
