Right lads!

Next meet is planned for Sunday 23rd April, meeting at Scotch Corner at around 12:00 midday. North East lads will meet at Washington Services first at 11:30am.

I've chosen Scotch Corner again, as hopefully the weather will be a lot warmer/dryer and we can have a run down to Fountains Abbey Gardens. A really good opportunity to get some excellent photographs of the cars in better surroundings.

Hopefully all those who've had their cars in winter hibernation will have blown the dust off them by then, so looking for a really good turn out. Don't reckon we'll come any where near the numbers we had at the Ferrybridge meet, however, I'm hoping those who were at that meet for the 1st time will no doubt have the bug and will be looking forward to this one.

Some of you Newcastle/Sunderland lads may be asking "Why are we meeting at Scotch Corner again, when the last two meets have been in the south of the region". Main reason is the trip to Fountains Abbey and secondly, we now have a lot of members who live a long way south (Selby, Hull, Ripon, Leeds etc) of Newcastle, so Scotch Corner is more central.

Oi G Pants the North East is NOT a 2 mile radious around Washington services, It covers Tyne and Wear, Cleveland, and North Yorks.

 

If you want meets on your doorstep then have a ride across to the Metro Centre and join in with the McDonalds car park brigade :rofl: :tongue: :slap:

I couldnt make it, but at least you didnt break the record for the lowest turnout at a northeat meet, that was 2, me and DJtomo!!!!
