Hi looking for some instructions for how to fit white dials, i've stripped the clocks downs but am affraid to pull the needles off incase this is the wrong way to remove. Help on needle removal please anyone.

ie dials/indiglow etc etc

and don't remove the needles

The needles have got to come off to get the white dial onto the face of the clock. some dials were made with a strip cut for that but you have deffo got to take them off to fit indiglo dials? If thats what you are putting on?

the holes in my dials don't look big enough the slide over the needles.

its a big file, so be patient........

 

you really don't want to be removing the needles if possible, they are set on a delicate mechanism, and if you aren't careful you'll fook them up.

 

If the hole in the centre of the dial is around 10 -12 mm diameter then you should be fine to slip them over the needles.......

it's possible, trust me i've done it, so has phil (apache)

you dont need to take the needles off bud if you do you will either snap them or thay wont sit right if you cant get the new dials on without taking needles off then dont bother

Just got back from T-POT'S, big thanks to this man, he is a star. we had to inlarge the holes to get them to fit but its all done now, THANKS T-POT.
