Stupid noob question-When i have a code 55 on ECU test does this mean everythings all ok?

Ive got an eratic idle at when stationary.(starting from cold to operating temp it will settle at 750 revs then go for a drive and come back it will idle at 1000?)

Is my base idle out?

55 is all clear, if you have just reset the ECU give it a couple of days to settle down from the self learning then if you are unhappy with the idle there is a long list of things to work through to get it sorted.

Okay thanks mate.

Ive cleaned up the temp sensor connection that was pretty gunky so thats a start

You need to work through what it says on the lists though, just adjusting the base idle may be covering over another problem.

Thanks for the links-as you said i will leave it for a bit and see what happens when the ECUs relearnt.

Im just happy ive got a code 55 thats all lol.

I found both of the 02 sensor connectors in a bad way so ive put new ones on and thats improved things.
