I just wondered if anyone evey looked at a uk zed when they were new in a nissan dealership i wish i had .My local dealer tells me they had a red demo which the sales director took home and crashed.

My neighbour (1990/91) was a sales manager for Nissan, he always used the 300zx as his loaner/demo car!!

 

Thats what made me want one in the first place!!

 

I never saw one in the shop thou, as i was only 16 in 1990/1 and i didnt think they'd let me 'browse' a £35k car LOL

Yes I did, fell in love.Was going to buy it cash,but compo for my accident went severly tits up.But got one in the end second hand lol.

Cheers guys this car must have made a big impact on its launch id love to have been invited to its launch such a hi-tec car in the day of blandness 1990 /ford /vauxhall etc.

Yeah, saw red one in the Nissan main dealers outside the Washington factory. Same as Chunk really, fell in love with the car then and have wanted one ever since.

Can go one better than that though: I've actually been to the car plant where the Z32's were manufactured, Nissan Shatai in Tokyo. Was there in 2001 and again 2002. Obviously not in production then. Was at Nissan Oppama plant for the Production trials of the Z33 in 2002

I remember seeing the new ones in the Nissan showrooms and at the motor shows in the early 90s. Fell in love with 'em! :cool:
