Been to see a lad about fitting a full leather interior.

Absolutely great - but just realised I dont have a grand kicking around.

so do I.....

A. Try and retrim myself with a big sheet of vinyl.

B. Buy a retrim kit off ebay and retrim myself with that.

Im just wondering if the ebay kits are stiched etc for bending round the centre console armrest - I emailed the guy and he just directed me to a pic of what you get - but you cant see if its just a flat piece of vinyl, or shaped and stitched.

I cant remember who but someone on here offered to do mine last year for well under a grand. just cant recall who it was. him and he's missus do it and a fair ol' job to by all accounts? I know this aint much help now but they might come foward and reveal themselves??

EDIT::: Just remembered it was Cadpaul if i am not mistaken? send him a PM.

may have been cadpaul-vini bud

Am sure it was too mate. I am going to get mine done and there is a bloke on EBay that does everything other than the seats in any colour for less than £50 in vinyl but he has a bit of bad feedback so I am thinking twice about it?

don't bother with those re-trim kits, all, you are paying for is someone to cut the vinyl / leather for you.

I took all my tweed off the panels, came off easy, and the missus ironed the tweed pieces flat for me and we placed them on the leather sheet and drew around them and cut them out, dead easy !!

If you get some sheet theres enough left over to line the centre armrest console and glovebox etc or whatever else you want to cover, also I got a handbrake and gear stick gaitor made with the leftovers.

Don't go for the kits, you are throwing your money away....

My full interior was under £500 thats seats doors dash the lot, karlzx just had his done same place, and he had even the roof and visors done, under £600.

pm if you want the details

it cost me £630.00 total for the seats including the Z logo and 100sq ft of leather ( not vinyl ) in the matching beige which was enough to do the interior including lots of mistakes and the rear headrests and the boot shelf, the interior looks sweet, but its not 100% perfect ( 99% ), you will have to be a picky git to pick to be unhappy with it though, i've still got lots of leather left in case any gets damaged later.

get the seats done by a pro, and do the dash and stuff yourself

that centre console lid you showed me was looking good mate, just take your time itl look sound and save you a small fortune

Good advice above, to get the seats done by a propper retrimmer.

The kits are good but they are taken from a new pattern, and your seat

foam has wear in it! The kits therefore end up with a loose fitting.
