It does not mate but the picture of the bonnet displayed is a carbon fibre one, you can see the weave. Thats why I am asking "Is this a carbon fibre bonnet for £199.00?? As it would be a fookin expensive standard bonnet IMO

Big problem is though a lot of the guys who sell that stuff wouldn't know the difference between polyester & epoxy,,,,,, like some of the BAD fibreglass stuff ive seen,, ie, white gel-coated panels with air between the gel & mat,,,

you paint the new panels in black or dark colours and watch em bubble up in the hot sun,,,then the paint guy gets the blame for some guys shit GRP work.

 

For ref,,, Epoxy resins are much stronger harder & adhere better than polyesters,,,,,, fabrics like carbon & kevlar are used with it to give excellent strength to weight,,, as in aircraft,,, performance boats cars etc.

any advice on cf give me a shout, i spent 2 years designing my own parts and trading here.

i was with chris when we looked at the carbon bonnets and they are very very good quality, very tempted myself to have one, if they had been vented it would have been a no brainer :) they also had a supra one and it was just amazing, just wish they did as many things for the zed :(
