Cananyone help me i had the age old problem last night,I was sat watching A top gear re-run.(The one with the bugatti veyron)When i said about the change of car. BOOM she went ballistic saying i sould stop messin about with cars and get my head sorted.I asked what she ment and her reply was and i quote "I WANT A HOUSE AND KIDS NOT A SPORTS CAR". Im only 22 i dont need a house and i def dont need kids.I tryed to explain the im not ready to move out and that im happy wit a new car.Needless to say she left not talking to me.Any suggestions???? :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

i know i'll ask advice on the internet, from people ive never met, don't know my girl or any of our circumstances, and on a car forum whether you should put her or the car first, maybe that tells you summat :tongue:

 

my missus is that laid back i reckon she falls over twice a week, BUT i don't ask her advice on cars, she don't ask me what furniture to buy,

but if i had a problem SHE would be the first and only person i would talk to, worked for many a year and we don't do arguements

but as i said i don't know you or her, just one thought though lol

Agree with the above though, you're way too young to be thinking about kids and long term commitment (and she's even younger ffs!). It will end in tears if you go down that route in my experience ;)

I know you doubt me but it is completely true.

Recently I went through a similar thing with my wife tbmh (the beautiful money hoover)

Anyway, I wanted to spend some money on my zed, 12k to be precise. "Noooo" she screams "you can fooook that for a game of soldiers"

 

Now read carefully besause I will only type this once.

 

I bought her a new kitchen and bathroom.

 

So my 12k upgrade cost me as little as £27,000.

 

I ask you who wears the pant in my house

 

 

:bow: Same thing here i can have what i want within reason if it makes me happy. BUT she has had new kitchen new bathroom new carpet in whole house new Central heating boiler last week £2500 in itself ! Oh and now the house is for sale as we need a Bigger house. Apparently a three bed detached in a quite Suffolk village with River views is not really Big enough and we need more space !! Still my £3500 car keeps me happy our £15 k outlay is just simply not enough !! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

And the best bit is my cars in bits in the garage waiting for me to finish all the little jobs i am doing over the winter months on it, As ive been to busy not finishing the Kitchen, Bathroom, etc etc quick enough ! oh and i work 6 days a week 8.00- 600pm. Still i should be happy im still alive !! :cry: :rant:

Funny you should mention houses my wife wants a biggar house, we live in a 3 bed semi in cheshire. She wants to get a four bed detatched and still keep our old house to rent. "Please" I said "get a job", your plans just make my life harder and harder.

Man thats well too young, im 22 and the mrs in 26. And i would personally not have kids before 30, but thats just my own preference. All you gotta do bud is talk to your mrs about it, i talk to mine about everything and we never argue.
