also if the speed restirctor is still on what sould the zed top out at? (kph!)

sounds like annoying speed alarm. If you take off the top of the dash cover there should be a small black box (I like those..lol) just disconnect that...

HTH

I believe the limiter is set at 112 mph

yep chime activates at approx 70 mph or 112 kph

but whole car is limited to 112 mph :headvswal

Mines not

i've still got the cats and i think the 1.5" restrictors are still in the exhausts too. :headvswal

dunno if its limited not really been fast in it yet, as 112 is about 180 kph i think n not being near there yet will check it out (on privte race track of course), annoying chime at 70? why was it ever there in the first placE?

Have a look under the car and see whats there .... you may hear them purrring if your really careful ..

Japanese regulations I believe. Its a warning that they are breaking max speed limit.

Restrictors are effectively washers in the exhaust that restrict flow. They sit right after the cats. They can be "dremmeled" out, or a aftermarket Cat back exhaust fitted.

no dont wake them up!!!! every morning before you start the car put half a can of wiskers in each tail pipe that will encourage the cats to work more efficiently

I am going to lay down my head is spinning .... look under the car though kenny, if you are not sure take a piccy and someone will tell you if its still got cats.

you cant really as you have to remove the pipe before the cats. there will be a washer approx 1.5" bore welded into the pipe. most people grind it out when decatting as it saves removing the pipes twice.

all the best
