Guys,

 

Have just downloaded the next episode of Lost and it's in Xvid asd format, I've downloaded the CODEC from Xvid but when I try to play it in Windows Media Player it says it's playing but I don't see anything??

 

What is going on? Pain in the backside all this Codec downloading when stuff won't play...had to download FLAC the other week to play an album, WTF is FLAC when it's at home?

Have you tried Divx as a player, IMHO far better than Windows Media?

Cheers guys, yep have got the latest version of DivX player just now!

 

It needed the Dov Sub decoder to get it working. I checked the download text files and it said in there it was encoded with Dov Sub. Baffled coz the torrent came down as XviD asd format. Oh well another two codecs added to my collection.

Well worth getting though as the average episode is 350Mbytes whereas this one is half that. Result!!!

try http://www.cole2k.net get the advanced. costs nothing seems to run everything..

also try vlc player http://www.videolan.org plays absolutly anything
