quick question?????

does anybody know where the vacuum pipe is to the egr valve, cos whilst fitting my breather kit I noticed that the o/s vacuum rail was missing a supply line to it , and what effect will it have without the egr vac unit not being coupled up???

You have to trace it from the solenoid (near the battery on my LHD).

It goes then under the plenum and out on the back of the plenum.

If it's not connected then you'll have a vacuum leak when the EGR is supposed to open.

The ECU should compensate for this though, cause it's running in the closed loop (using the O2-sensors)

when the EGR is operated.
