Not sure if this is the area where you introduce yourself or even if people do here but here goes:
I'm 24, live in Brentwood in Essex with my parents. When I finished uni I worked building race and track Peugeots and now moved back to my parents house to get some cash together.
I will first confess to being really into Peugeots and never even thought of a jap motor till recently when a mate took me out in his GTO.
The 300 interests me mainly as its not 4WD but yet still has the power
I've got way too many cars at the moment and clearing them all to build a 309 rallycar. Built a close ratio box with Quaife LSD last weekend and looking to plate up the shell and build the engine this weekend - its got to be working, MOT'd and run in for a shakedown track day in two weekends time.
Also I am breaking a 405 Mi16 (160bhp 1900cc alloy engined) for a few £'s, and have a mint 205 1900 Cti convertible in the garage which is hopefully going next weekend.
A while ago I was looking at getting a nice sensible tow car (V70 T5) but one of our "rally group" (4 guys, each spanner for each other and prepare cars together) has bought his old work Transit - meaning I can forget having something sensible, and get a nice cruiser.
The deal I have with my missus is once I have COMPLETED my first rally and got my car to the same condition as before the rally I am allowed a new car - so long as I can proove I can afford to buy and run it for one year.
At the moment the 300zx is top of my list but I've joined up here to learn as much as I can - the Supra is pretty tempting too!
