whent to get some petrol in the zed today and this ferrari modena pulls up at the pump behind me, oldish guy gets out and says "nice car, mate"

"cheers" i replied "yours, aint too bad either" :wack:

"is it realy a H plate"

"yup"

"what a 1990"

"yes, but its had a re-spray"

"who makes it?" :wack:

"its a nissan" i said

well he nearly droped his petrol hose.

coming out of the garage after paying he collared me again we talked about engine size and then he asked how much i paid for it i told him £4750 about 3year ago plus another £6k on re-spray, re-trim, ect. i thought he was gonna have an heart attack. "how much did you spend on yours?" i asked him "£118k" he said the fooked off with a glum look on his face :)

it got me wondering supose the z32 was made by ferrari, how much do you reckon they would be?

and also, do you reckon it would be a classic? like the testarossa or GTO, as the zed still gets rave reviews even now and can still hold its own in the 0-60 stakes against some of the more modern `supercars`.

well, he paid the 118K for a ferrari... everybody is in admiration when hearing Porsche, ferrari, lambo, .... get in a bar and scream "I DRIVE NISSAN"... the most common awnser would be "I DRIVE SOBER".... nobud knows our car in fact :) :) No publicity, no real winning sport carrier in the background like ferrari and all few others :)

 

The best point in the end is, for really NO MONEY in compare to ferrari & co, you can beat them with a modified Z, where the ORIGINAL Z already beats nearly all cars, and still a few NEW today's-sport-cars, what do we want more :)

 

At the other hand, if it would have been a ferrari, we wouldn't be here cause nobud (well, think so) could afford such a car ;) - sombud told me a few weeks ago: "yeah ok, you've got power under the hood, but damn, it's consuming fuel-seas!" - maybe, but still damn cheeper than any other ferrari and & co... maybe he needed an excuse that he couldn't get me passed :D

my brother has just bought himself a brand new mustang from the states converted to right hand drive, 4.7ltr v8 i only went and creamed him so now his ordered a supercharger cant wait to have my new tubs fitted if i do again thats got to hurt

i was thinking that the other day, it does look a bit like a ferrari. my mate had a gto with a small yellow mitsubishi badge in a shield shape top of the door by the mirrors, and although that is a bit sad it was funny to see how little attention people really pay and how many people said it was a ferrari!

i had an aston db7 next to mine in the garage,and the bloke said and i thought i had a wide car
