Right lads!

Need definate names for this, as it's only 2 weeks on Sunday and I need to sort out travel arrangements.

My initial thoughts were something like:

1. Washington Services (southbound) at 10:30am

2. Scotch Corner Services at 11:00am

3. Rainton Services at 11:15am

4. Selby Fork Hotel at 11:45am

5. Ferrybridge Services at 12:00pm

Obviously, this may change, depending who is definately coming and where they want to join up on the way down.

Please add your name (and where you would like to meet on the way down) to the list so I can firm up the plans in advance, giving everyone plenty of notice of the route and timing. If your preferred pick up point isn't one of the 5 I've already listed, don't be affriad to shout up and I can add it.

Cheers

Hi all

Would have turned up for this but the Zed has had to go to the garage to sort out Autobox problem still!!!

This is going to be one very good meet, When we all get to Ferry Bridge how about a 30 strong Convoy to that Hall place Tizer brought up?

How about a suggestion of something to do as standing round in the cold at Ferrybridge services is not much fun:

Lotherton Hall

http://www.leeds.gov.uk/lothertonhall/lothgard.html

Really nice place only about 5 miles north on the A1.

Large bird garden, grounds and a poncy house if that's your thing LOL

Only costs £3 for parking and it's free apart from entry to the house.

Would make it into a family day out for those members who need to persuade the other half?

Huge grassy parking area so we could get some nice photos too.

They have a few car club meets there in the summer so wouldn't be a problem.

Any more NE lads out there.

Looks like I'll be PM'ing all next week again :smash:

Biggest meet since JAE '05 and not to be missed

Hi i live between the selby fork hotel and ferry bridge services.I've only had my zed a few months and would love to come on my first meet. You probably know but in the last year the A1 has been re-routed and much of the old A1 (roman road ) has been made in to fields.I don't really use the A1 much but if you want me to check it out i will as the junction numbers have changed.Pm me or E-mail me at rubble1@blueyonder.co.uk if you need any info,Rubble.

Thanks Barny see you there:D;)

Lotherton hall is not very rear wheel drive friendly at this time of year.Have a look at Temple newsam on http://www.leeds.gov.uk/templenewsam/.It's about 10 mins away from the A1 on the A1 M1 link.Much the same but bigger and better.Hope this helps.

Think we're better sorting out the venue when we all arive at Ferrybridge.

Anyway mate, welcome to the club and it would be great to see you at Ferrybridge. Do you want to meet us on the way down or are you heading straight there?

PS. Please add you details to the Members List thread in the NE section.

Cheers

Steve

still think the Xscape will be a better venue to go to from ferrybridge

2 mins down the road

looking at the weather, at least we can get indoors, and loads to do for anyone fetching family members

loads of resteraunts aND bars and entertainment

could be the ZXSCAPE MEET 06

OOOOOOOO i can feel a t shirt coming on

steve

how many you got coming down from up there

cos i think the midlands massive are going to give you a run for your money

i think a trophy should go to the best area turn out

or better still
