with you idle correct, and temp normal...your base timing is WAY to advanced.

Get a strobe light on it and double check that ! I personally would'nt drive it until thats checked.

Do you o2 sensors continously sweep at 2000rpm+, about 1 sweep a second ?

yea, rich is too much fuel. lean is not enough

Have you had the ecu out yet mate?? cos you need to check theres no dodgy chip in there setting the timing so high!!

and like i told you at the meeting i would NOT be driving it with the timing that advanced as its gonna blow mate, you need to either find someone with a timing gun and knock the cas round like to told you until its 15 tdc or poss even a little less if your having other problems to leave some safety.

code 54 is fine, this is because yours use to be an auto, know its a manual,it is showing the error, dont worry

as for your base timing at 25degrees if its not ajustable via the Cas then id presume the timing belt is out by a tooth or 2,and this is why your performance is poor, with that far advance id get that sorted asap-to avoid any damage!looking at your car its up to temp @84degrees so you can safely say that is the correct reading for the timing, get some one near you to set up your timing to the correct figure of 15degrees

Take a look at the CAS, if it's set right then the screws should be almost exactly in the middle of the adjustment slot. If they're way out, in order to set the timing right, then you may be a cambelt tooth out or the CAS location pin could be broken. If the scew is at one end of the slot now then that would explain why your timing is out.

The screws were just about in the middle of the adjustment slots.

as said if you cant get the corect reading via cas, then the cambelt needs to be checked
