only just realised that ive spent all day today playing driving games on my ps2!!! :xxx:

 

got back from staying over at my mate's about 9am, fired WRC Evolution up and did a couple of countries (with fancy new steering wheel), had a bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, got fed up of WRC so put freshly-purchased TOCA 3 in and did a few events - Baja Racing, X-power MG rally, F1 racing. got fed up of that. cheated in GT4 to get gold licences and unlock more cars. went to pick my g/f up and bought her back for a while before she has to catch train to Manchester. showed off my steering wheel while playing GT4. then taught her how to play WRC Extreme with the wheel. then dropped her off at station. back home for more TOCA 3 (GB cup), and now ive been playing [cheating] more on GT4. where's the day gone?!?!

yeah i love gt4 no cheating for me though LOL!!, got up 2 25% game completed when the game data got corrupted and lost all my game saves ffs, wont use auto save on gt4 now lol!!

my GT4 has dissappeared :cry:

Just started replaying GT4 again, and I gotta say you forget just how good the graphics are on this game... I'm up to 84.4% just gotta do the 24h endurance races which are still gonna take me at least 7hr's to do in B spec mode!!!! Just gotta find the time... Oh, and get 4 gold cups in S Licence mode.. :dance:

Also you can only get 100% complete in GT mode if you got gold in everything, Licences and all!!! Dave, yer a bloody fibber!!! ;)

no coconut for you! you dont need to get gold in the licences to get 100% - you need to get gold in everything else ;)

I was off work for 4 days last week sick and i spent 3 of them on GT4 gone from a measly complete percentage to huge with loads of new cars and credit

Have to be sick more often. I think its the only way i ever get time to play it ....

there arent any cheats as such, unless youve got Action Replay MAX in which case there are loads ;)

but if you want cash quick, try the second driving mission (the one around the nice bayside town - cant remember whats it called) - its quite easy to do with a lightly modified car, say a 300ZX ;) and you win a car worth over 200,000 :bow: do it as many times as you like

In Extreme conditions arena Win the Capri rally in easy mode you win a toyota rally car sell it and get 265,000 credits keep doing it over and over until you build up some credit 4 or 5 times gives you a good boost to start buying mods etc. I one this one using a second hand BMW 3 series with some light mods etc

I have just spent ages on the licence stages as it wont let me play half the races.

 

I must say, I am useless

tip for 24hr endurance race/ any endurance race, pick a fast fast car that will keep in front of pack and will be able to lap the computer. then simple enter bspec mode set mid pace and do one pit stop set tyres u want on each time and then just leave the ps2 on, when it pits it auto presses ok after 5 seconds, so as long as u have a quick enough car it will win race.

unplug from tv, and continue with normal life for 24 hours.

job done.
