Big Thanks to Dave G !

Travelled from Dundee to the south west yesterday to collect a set of Leather seats for his car, and very helpfully collected a set of Series 2 seats from another member on his way and bought them down to me.

Poor bloke had been driving since 9am when he arrived at mine 10pm last night, and was heading back home on a non-stop drive.

Hope you won your bet bud !

LOL Nice one!

but... I'm about to sell my leather seats and I'm only a third of the distance away LOL

LOL no problem Legrath, sorry I wasnt more social, think I spent more time in the toilet than talking to you.

The whole day was an adventure, 23.5 hours continuous driving, 1400 miles, 5 tins of red bull, 1 x 12" margherita pizza, 1 x Donner kebab, 1 x burger, 3 x cheese sandwiches (GF made them and there wa more butter than cheese :hurl: ). But out of that there was 3 hours of stops minimum to which there was an hour sleep in hotel VW Caddy, while I let the GF drive before I crashed off the road, stopping always makes a difference before anyone else wants to do something so silly  . Before some clever clogs works it out, only averaging 60mph including stops (or 70 not including stops). So not too much speeding tried to stick to 80-85, and no flashies!!! :nana2:

PS, seen my mate on the way back. An hour and a half to spare and he owes me a big wet one, no dirty references please, lol.
