looking to get some bigger intercoolers for the Zed for summer

 

really like the look of the Front mounted ones in a 99 spec bumper

 

question is:

 

which would be better? uprated sides or much bigger front

 

not too fussed at doing minor mods to make the front one fit

 

seen decent kits in the states for about 1000 dollas

Correct, I have no 1st hand experience of testing uprated SMIC's and FMIC's (does anyone else here have experience of both? ;))..but everything I posted was from the mouths of those that do have far more experience than anyone in this country..and a lot of it is obvious stuff :tongue:

Not on this forum that I know of but the man that built the most powerfull Z in the UK has had first hand experiance with both. That is good enough for me :bow: :bow: :bow:

lets face it - the only proof would be to dyno a car with uprated SMIC's then with a FMIC.

from dyno sheets i read on a test on TT.net a while back it showed SMIC'c gave a slight bhp increase.

FMIC are seen on such cars like evos etc becauses its designed to its a single throttle straight inline 4cylinder,so why the fook would you fit SMs PMSL,
