I am writing to you with reference to the Southwest Festival of Motoring that is taking place at Taunton Racecourse on Sunday July 16th.

 

It would be wonderful if your club would be able to attend in some capacity in our Japanese performance sector? Spaces are completely free of charge to invited exhibitors and you are welcome to as much space as you like on this 35 acre site! All that is asked is that a small donation is made to Cancer Research UK on the day as the event is supporting the charity.

 

Please find attached an official invitation and exhibitors form for you to return via email or post should the event be of interest.

Gates are open to exhibitors between 6:30am and 9am with the event open to the public between 10am and 5pm. Additional venue information can be viewed at http://www.tauntonracecourse.co.uk

 

Convoy meeting place 8am

Meet at Sainsburys/Mothercare carpark just off 2nd rounabout in Taunton J25 M5

 

 

 

 

Show passes will be handed out when we meet. If anybody can not make the meeting place and needs me to send them there show pass in the post please PM me your postal address.

I guess quite a lot of us will come from different directions, so we could meet up somewhere near junction 25, there's loads of out of town superstore type places around there with big car parks. Then we can get our tickets and noisily trundle to the racecourse en masse.

I reckon somewhere like the Sainsburys/mothercare/halfords carpark just of the big roundabout as you enter Taunton would be ideal.

OK - how about 8.20 am at Sainsburys then? Looks like we are expected to be in by 9am, so that gives us 10 mins to say howdy and then onwards.

BTW - if anyone from the south wants to meet up at Exeter or Collumpton services before that, let me know.

From experience, I think we had better make it about 8:00am, as some never arrives in time (you know who you are :p)
