Finally found a decent replacement for the Zed...

My mate just bought himself a Merc CL500.

 

This is the first car I have seen in ages that I would rather be driving than the Zed.

Why can't more cars look like this?

    I like the CL500 dreadnoughts. To buy 2nd hand they quite cheap really compared to an SL. But the runnings costs are HUUGE!

    check for corrosion on the ally panels, esp round sunroof if fitted, front & rear wheel arches & bottom of C pillars where they meet the rear 1/4 panels. if left, being alluminium they can rot out in no time.

    Goodwill payments from Mercedes can go back quite a few years so take it to a Merc dealer if any is found!

    Sorry but i much prefer the look of the zed.

    Nothing wrong with the merc, but nothing in comparison with the look of a well kepted zed. Just my opinion of course.
