So no one got any more ideas then?

seriously though mate, take everyones advice and before u spend another penny take it to a zed specialist and get them to give it a service, i know how it is u dont want to spend any money on anything other than modifying it, but u really need to get the engine reliable first otherwise youll just do more damage.

what i mean is instead of paying loads to buy a datascan/conzult spend that money on a service. conzult will only tell u whats wrong, not fix it. u could get a garage to tell u whats wrong for free.

The thing is ive changed everything apart from the oil which is pretty much a service, if a garage could tell me what was wrong id be laughing mate but noone knows and are just saying get it on a computer which is why i am buying a datascan.

And im buying one because it the same price just to get nissan to put it on their computer.

have a good look for boost leaks under pressure. can you rev the engine above 5500 with light throttle?i fyou can then prob is a boost leak on the pressur side . i fyou cant still rev the engine on light throttle look for poor connections etc . Wouldnt think a service will cure this you need to fix the problem then think about servicing .

i drove it the other day and it didnt seem to have a lot of power, gave it a short blast but noticed that when i pulled up and revved it it wouldnt rev properly (as if only running on a few cylinders)

Oh, i forgot to tell you that we found one of the big problems!

You know the 4 big turbo pipe thingies, well one of them wasn't on properly so most likely thats why it was sometimes cutting out and also a big leak

could be the conection's on the injectors . pull them off and have a check a good tip is to spray them with a good lube oil before trying to pull them and they should come off ok if they are no good then you can buy the connectors with terminals to carry out a good repair if need be.

its a good place to start when the connection's are bad the injector voltage and ground signal are no good so fuel del will be poor plus you can get misfires all over the place .

you can buy the connectors as i said to do the repair . im not aloud to say to much as im not an offcial forum trader .

In all honesty i dont know as i hadn't fixed the air leak before the bov's were fitted and it was then struggling all the time but in all honesty i hadn't noticed it as bad before they were fitted
