Steve are we just meeting at Scotch or are we going for a drive?

Was just thinking about discussing it on Sunday ready for the next meet, probably in April, as March meet is already sorted.

However, if anyone is up for it on Sunday, then count me in. Fingers crossed for the weather.

Steve

How about a ride up the 66 to Barnard Castle and back?

Sounds like a good idea. Anybody else up for this?

We can call back at Scotch Corner services for our Sunday Lunch (Double Whapper with Cheese, large fries & large coke), when we're finished.

aahhh!! You cannot beat good old English food

Wouldn't dream of it Phil! Just count yourself lucky you don't have Bird's car, else it'd be breakfast. :x:

at the ferrybridge meet :x:

In all seriousness though, my friends, there are two "mobile safety camera" sites classed as being active this month on t'A1 just before Scotch Corner and another at Catterick.

The first of the South bound ones is 1.7 miles past where the A66(M) joins the A1, the 2nd being 1.6 miles further down the road.

The one at Catterick is next to where the A6136 crosses the A1.

Not that I'm condoning any "colourful" interpretations of the speed limits, I just don't want anyone to have an accident in any of these dangerous locations!
