why dont you bite the bullet and take it to a nissan dealer, yes they are useless, but they do have a working conzult, pay your 70 odd quid and see what they come up with it may help save money in the long run

zeds and cheap, or temporary fixes dont work. if you dont get it sorted you will make matters worse theres no doubt about that.

 

just pay the money get it checked and then you will know for sure what is left to do, you can then budget for fixing those problems and finally have it all sorted..

i put mine on white-zed's datascan, found an 02 sensor was shot, i wouldnt have known if i had not had it checked, then went to ztech to have it changed and then had other work done as it was necessary.. sparks, oil, etc..

i have to go back for new clutch (previous owner lied about fitting a new one) and a full service.. all down to having the people who know them inside out checking it for me.

when i last rang nissan about getting it on they said £70 plus the hourly rate,

 

i said how long would you need it, maybe a couple of hours, thats then going to cost more like £170 :headvswal

thats why i said no at the time!

you have to expect these things bird.. just do yourself a favour.. stop kidding yourself its going to be ok because its not.. ok it may be expensive, however a zed isnt your everyday car!! its a premium "sports car" for a better word..

 

you cant afford to take chances, several members on here will tell you that, with problems ranging from bust pistons, damage to engine blocks, fooked gearboxes the list goes on.. you will head down this route if you dont get it checked.. in your sig you say "spent £2457 so far" dont get things sorted and you will spend a lot more than that!! for peace of mind £200 quid would make me happy as we all know you could end up spending a hell of a lot more than that
