Hi guys, in the tradition of Zed ownership, I have had the car exactly one week, and I now have it in bits!!!!

 

Cambelt today, brakes next weekend, and what ever after that.

 

So it should be pretty good for the next meet.........

Just a thought mate, might be a good idea to do the water pump seeing as you have it stripped down so far ?

 

If you get a wee leak 3 months from now, I dont want to say, "told you so"

That picture brings back memories :rolleyes: I have only just today finished putting the pipes and covers etc back on, but its all worth it. Goodluck mate.

shame you are so far away because if you are that keen you could have done my rocker gasket replacement :x:

Thanks for the encouragement guys, just back from a weekend away, got a fair bit of it done on Friday.

 

Alan, yeah, I thought it would be a good idea to do the waterpump (and the tensioner, idle pulleys, cam & crank seals etc)

 

Working 12 hour days mon, tue, wed, so hopefully I'll get some time and finish it on thurs nite...

 

Then it's the brakes, rebuild the callipers & master cylinder....
