who on here can honnestly say they never done anything similar before?

Me!! All the cars I owned when I was younger where never body kitted I just never saw the point???? the only car I ever thought a kit would look right on is my Z and even then after I spent money on the engine and brakes etc first. As the way I see is whats the point of dressing like a wolf when all you are is a sheep, who will be shown up when anything tries to race you(and they will when they see body kit).IMHO Edit: Tell a lie I stuck a set of 16" alloys on my MK2 Fiesta once and the ride was bloody terrible really regreted it and sold them shortly afterwards.

good on him, look at the things we do with our cars, wide kits, bling alloys, big bumpers, hooge side skirts and so on

why because we pay more for our cars do we think that anyone that hasnt got a big budget is just a chav, i was yuong once with a nova that i modded and thought it was great, then i got a fiesta rs 1800 (quite a rare car) and modded it, then got mk2 golf gti with a modified 28 v6 engine

then i got me ze which im hoping to put a wide kit, wide alloys big bumpers and side skirts, so does that make me a chav i think not, so for me am chuffed for him

sorry boldy not having a go, but i dont see the difference in what we do to what they do

I s'pose mummy & daddy are paying to have

it sprayed too?

He is quite lucky to have parents who like and can afford for him to have all this done, my Dad is quite old fasioned in that respect and really dislikes bodykits and big alloys etc. He even thinks my Z is to loud and does not like going in it either, and says I am just wasting my money on it. LOL

I,m not having a go because he,s kitting it, like most have said i,ve also had a few kitted motors in my time , but kitted TASTEFULLY you know, something to make the look better :hyper:

That ahem ' BODYKIT ' is just so FOOKING UGLY :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:

Where's the damn pics gone?

This is the first car I have wanted to add body styling too.

I prefer the sleeper look and that is totally impossible with these cars so what the hell.

I personally have always been more interested in mechanical ability than bling ,thats why I have always previously modded the engine side and peripherals...have made a few total *****x ups but thats how we learn....whos to say in ten years he may be driving a Z a bit like the Beast or Mac's all because he got the bug with a crappy astra.
