Anyone got any pics of boot installs for a 2+2 which allows the targa tops to fit in. I have seen plenty for the SWB but none for these  . Just gathering some ideas for when I make mine up, not going crazy though, just couple of subs and replacing of the rear speakers plus 1 or 2 amps.

I like simplistic ideas best though

Thanks in advance.

same here too bud , im looking forward to meet this weekend , as going to throw some qestion to our zx mad , member, see what he thinks as i am about to do the same bud , ie boot instal but still leaving space for targas, !!

of anyone has old pics of mine you can see how mine fitted and i had 2 corner mounted focal 13'' subs and amp right across the back with the cover over you couldnt even see the tops either

I built one for Mark (fingerpig) a few years ago, got 2 10" subs in, 2 amps and could still get at the spare and get targas in. Was for sale on here a while ago but haven`t got any pics of it

take a look at mine in my sig

I was thinking of doing it that way. Seems very simple, but I would also either replace the rear speakers and possibly remount them accross the top or replace by 6x9s. I will have a wee look once I start stripping them down. Compared to yours I would probably try to move the amps to the side someplace, just for a little more space.

Thanks guys,

I will keep looking for more inspiration.

i made a shaped parcel shelf so i could fit the targas and a pram.... pram didnt fit though :headvswal targas did

how did you mount that bud?

i take it you meen the parcel shelf, its fastened with small plastic brackets on the side of the mouldings where the original speakers are, and then its screwed underneath to the blind thingy....hope that made sense

Another one I like too, Can you still get to the spare wheel.

yep! the main panel is cut just infront of the amp and obviously at the bottom of the sub enclosure.

although im thinking of geting rid of the spare wheel and putting the amp under the main panel with a window cut out over the amp.

Remove the backseat and build a rack for the T-tops behind the frontseats...

I´m putting mine standing behind each frontseat...

Why the hell have a rearseat in a sportscar...?

I have a 2+2 just because I like the longer look of the car better.

But my rearseat is long gone...

Ditto, mine will be in the summer, have got a nice install all drawn out and planned all I need now is the money to build it.

No I will definately be keeping the back seats, although its a sports car, I am fed up with only having 2 seats and no space for storage.

At the end of the day, I wouldnt really call it a sports car cos it is a bit too heavy to be a real one. More like a monster.

Plus having 2 seats, means you only have 1 friend or loads of journeys.

got a huge box in mine and with a false floor and the targas fit over too great, was thinking of making more of these as its a great install.

Well the car will be lighter if you place the back seat on the scrapyard... ;)

And it has great potencial to be a super car, but you have to sacrefice some of the crap the japanese but in to get a better weight/power ratio...

And upgrade to giant turbos...
