Who have you people bought kits from. I want a Veilside C1 front end. Best deal I can find is Edworthys. Whifbitz is a bit more expensive and I dont think they do finance.

Anyone point me in the direction of a cheap and reputable dealer?

you dont want a veilside bumper, you want an eye test ;)

Harsh but fair the 99' spec front end is far nicer!! and discreet!!

ive got the c1 on my motor but it was fitted in japan, i know nemesis performance used to do it but not sure if their still around

but their are quite a few copies available

Go with the bumper you want mate as 99.5% of the members on this forum follow the 99 spec items like sheep (BAHHHH) I used to own a shark bumper bought from Luke at The Z Centre and I really liked a lot only reason I sold it was due to lack of funds.

Oooh 99 spec ooohhh.  :p

NoT trying to state the obvious but I presume that you have checked the traders section. If so and they are too dear for you then EBay is the next best bet. Now if you wanted the car to look real good then I would point you in the direction of this place * http://www.300zxstyling.co.uk/ * where you can get the best for less.

i feel i must to disagree, ;) :D

each to their own. i wouldnt touch the C2 unless my car was running about 1000bhp, but i like the C1. oh, ive got one on me car ;)

Must say, I'm not keen on the Veilside kits. Find they don't follow the smooth lines of the Zed. Just my opinion with this large wacky open mouth bumpers...they just aren't attractive. But each to their own.

Most people follow 99spec because it's the most liked. I'm not gonna fit the 99spec front bumper as I actually like the original bumper.

TBH, i dislike the VS bumpers (especially the C2 lol), but go for it fella if thats the look you like.

Im sure when my Z is finished people wont like it, but thats what i want

I have decided to go Strosek myself for the front. Gonna have fun fitting it but Hey! thats what its all about aint it?

I think most people go for the 99spec because its a conservertive move and its about the cheepest bumper you can get.

Like you I think most of the veilside bumpers and skirts are a bit wild and wacky not complementing the lines of the car at all. However my bumper started life as a Veilside bumper and I have to say that the quality of Genuine Veilside products is fantastic. The only kits I know that have no imperfections and look smooth and not ripply and dimpully.

They fit without modification, need no prep prior to painting Thus saving you £££££'s at the body shop. They are also so fine and light yet so much stronger than any other kits I've seen. I know There are lots of stuff about that is cheeper, but beleive me to get it to look good takes that much prep and filler etc that they end up costing more.

try to find a urathene one if your cars lowered, or it will crack or get broken on speed bumps etc. That's another reason 99'spec ones are popular. I have a Wings West urathane one, and Stillen also do urathane bumpers.

Your not wrong I have to do detours to avoid those fecking speed bumps they putting every goddam where.
