Save upto 10p litre on fuel, pipeline card......join now.

Look at this i seen it earlier on the news, take a look really interesting 10p a litre fuel saving, this would save me probably £500-£600 a year......sorry if it's been posted before.

Dear *****

Firstly, thank you for signing up to Pipeline Card

(http://www.PipelineCard.org) and pledging your support to the Pipeline Card cause. Despite recent

cuts, we still pay more for fuel than just about anyone else in Europe

so anything we can do to reduce prices is worth doing.

Pipeline Card has only been going for two months but we have already

secured agreement in principle from a major retailer to offer fuel

discounts of between 5p and 10p a litre. We have also had great support from

the media, particularly from the car forums, Times Online, and from

Martin Lewis, the money saving expert. If you haven't already done so,

please check out the Media Page on the website

Membership has been growing at an astonishing 10,000 members per week

so we are well on our way to launching the Pipeline Card in April or

May. However, we do need a lot of registrations to make this work on a

national level so please give some thought to ways of telling other

drivers about what we are doing.

if you do a search on most car forums, you will find these posts mate, and they been going a LOT longer than 2 months, and still no one has any discount.

it will never come into action, and the amount of time they been collating members, fuel has risen by nearly 5 times the saving they "hope" to get

no harm in joining, but dont expect anything from it.

I think it has potential, but the 5-10p per litre discount seems unlikely. From what I've read the service stations don't make that much profit per litre. Anyway, what have you got to lose ? ...

ahhh, you not heard the radio or news this week mate

Shell generated income after tax of $17.5bn (£9.3bn) in 2004, up 38% on the year before.

The forecourts can easily reduce fuel costs to a better price for us, but right now, they can hide behind the government.

between the two of them, we are getting stung left right and centre

And BP made a heap too, but not much from forecourt sales.

We get screwed mainly due to the huge percentage the Government take in tax \ litre
