Whats the difference in wheels between the UK Spec and JDM spec???

Also what is the correct size tyres as i have a feeling mine maybe wrong,

I have 245/45 on the rear and 225/50 on the front at the minute

To suit "European driving conditions" Ie high speed over long distances.

Jap cars were lower specced as they were not expected to be used in the above conditions.

If you run J spec 7" rears with 225 tyres many people would consider that to be seriously under tyred for a 300bhp car driving through only 2 tyres.

Just in comparison Im running 265 section rears on 10" rims and I still break traction on greasy roads in my NA.

I personally wouldnt even go out in a TT that had 225 rear tyres.Never mind go far.

A disaster waiting to happen.
