guys im after a small piece of coding for my pc that someone might be able to help me with. All i want it to do is read the time of day (ie am /pm/evening (like 5pm onwards..) and then load one of three .html docs.. also be nice if it could close the docs after like 20secs or so...

doesnt sound a big ask, but havent found anything like it on the internet and not good with coding myself..

cheers anyone...

What language you want this in bud?

Depends exactly how you need to do it but there's loads of scheduler type freeware programs that will do tasks according to time or other events.

You could just set up scheduled tasks in Windows to handle it via Start > Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks.

That's why I didn't mention it - it's very basic.

Some of the schedulers online can do some very complex stuff and are capable of fully automating opening and closing windows, entering keystrokes etc etc.

AutoMate is superb if you can find a license key ;)

You just need to set up your scheduled task right and it should work fine, even when you're not logged in. I will admit that it can be a bit of a PITA though.
