Suprsied no one else has posted this yet, I havent noticed a thread on it, maybe i've missed it.

Anyway, to the point. The other week a couple of BNP people were up in court for allegedly using words to incite racial hatred, yesterday there were muslims demonstrating in cities in this country calling for the heads of just about everyone and holding placards saying 'youre time will come' death to all against Islam' etc etc, or words to that effect . Now why havent the whole lot been arrested and carted off to Guantanamo? If they hate us this much why dont they fvck off somewhere else.

i have to admit, i wasnt going to speak but this thread did seem a bit intimidating towards muslims like my self, maybe not rascist in itself but certainly anti- muslim.

believe me i completley disagree with terrorism and killing innocent people but, how do you define a terrorist?

one who kills innocent people!!

does this make george bush and tony blair are the biggest terrorests in the world.

i dont see anyone giving them abuse on how they killed thousands and thousands of innocents in afgan and iraq.

i agree we dont want to be fighting each other on the site. i must say the comments made by members IMO doesn't mean all muslims just the people who go to far including (tony and bush). i'm friends with a lot of muslims including my own brother and sister and they dont agree with this type of violence, just like us "Westerners"

I think moderate Muslims should speak out and act against hard line terrorists who call themselves Muslim. Otherwise they risk (rightly or wrongly) all being tarred by the same brush.

 

From what I've read of Islaam (the five pillares etc), it's a benevolent religion but (like so many religions) some people either get the wrong end of the stick or simply use it to justify doing wrong.

later, but mud sticks, most people believed those who stated what THEY thought was the truth, those views later made it impossible for justice ever to be served, then we had juventus fans dying at a football match, which of those matches were the hooligans at? doesn't matter to some people they see it all the same it all gets lost in peoples fixed views,

 

i'll bet the majority of muslims actually cringe when it "starts up" again

as a white person i can't understand the passion of their religion, maybe the same way people can't understand why we were at a football match and people died, yes i'm as mad as anyone else when i see the radicals going ott

OK .. I don't post often these days due to not much time in the day.

 

I'm not going to go on like some sort of **** to say that I am not racist, because I don't know if I am or not .. someone define it for me. I think everyone is capable of being a racist it just depends what has happened to grow in your mind .. makes you think for a change.

 

I have served my Country, in the Army, served abroad, lots of places ... But when anyone, any fooker starts against OUR country, and I mean that as OURS (Everyone) it ****s me off .. I have seen young men blown up, shot, and that is why I left the Army. I don't want to see this on our own streets.

 

If some fanatics wan't to say their peace and insight riots and war in OUR country then they should be delt with accordingly. By the Police and what laws we have at this present time.

 

I know for a fact that not all muslims are bad, far from it TBH. I think that this world is going to get far worse before hopefully things get better ...

apology accepted.. ..i wonder why the world cant be like this.. i only got worked up cos my brother-in-law who was only 16 at the time got stopped on the road on his way to college..reason for this was cos he was walking on the streets of london with a ruck-sack. he got searched and was told to provide documentry evidence that he was indeed a british citizen. this was all at 1.00pm in the afternoon in Essex. that really boiled my pi5s. he only looks 14 and when the police did this really made me think what thes low-life terrorist scum have done for us as a citizen of the UK. i knew then that "WE" would always remain as "WE" and any brown skinned person be they muslim or no would be brandished with the same poke.

in the muslim community if you asked what the reaction to the pictures are then you would hear that these are dissapproved as we hold the prophet in great esteem but radicalism is not the answer.

racism, in my opinion, works ONE way, AGAINST the white residents of this country...

 

i would be interested to be proved wrong here, so if anyone has any links to cases of a white person successfully bringing an action for racism against a non-white person in this country i'd like to see it..

 

the burning of flags, the calling for the death of all infidels etc, IS racism (and incitement to violence, and threatening behaviour etc) but nothing seems to be done as it may appear "racist"...

 

we either have a FAIR policy on racism or we dont have one at all, coz in my opinion its all one way traffic at the moment..

 

the asylum seeker situation doesnt help either, and i think in a few years the likes of BNP and the far more PC Veritas party will gain support in this country as we fund the shell suits, Nike trainers and rover 600's of the asylum seekers and neglect our own youth to the point of rebellion...

Racism is clearly defined as an unlawfull prejudice against any person based on their particular race. This is something completely different to discrimination of faith.

I am not a raciist, although i live in a small rural comunity where there are almost no ethnic minorities and this in itself doesn't allow us many opportunities to mingle with other races and religions - I would still like to see white kids playing with african, asian, oriental kids on school playgrounds and growing up to form strong bonds with each other.

Religion on the other hand seems to have overtaken race as a leading cause for racial divide, and because racism caries more legal weight and social condemnation, religeous factions hide behind a racist cloak when the eyes of the world can't understand why they see what they're seeing.

We're all human, all born the same way, hurt the same way, bleed the same way, die the same way. There seems to be a good mix of people on here. but more importantly, we all get along (most of the time) That's the most anyone can hope/pray for.

I don't care what race or religion anyone is, I will shake their hand and drink with them as a friend regardless. Why can't everyone share this simple view?

Very true -also, the same kind of discrimination is happening in companies all over, with minorities holding the power via threats of racism/sexism etc..There will be a backlash if nothing is done, as this affects so many people.

 

The problem is no-one has any balls anymore. No-one in power seems able/willing to do the right thing, and stand by it.

I It was probably insensitive (or just plain ignorant) for those pictures to be published, BUT those nuances of sensitivity are not always understood in places where Islam is not the dominant faith. The protestors should accept that majority rules and minorities are tolerated, not the other way around. Declaring war (effectively) on the majority in a foreign land is seldom a wise approach, especially when the reason is essentially based on a misunderstanding.

The Arab News paper daily have pictures of George Bush and Tony Blare either bumbing each other or children. One cartoon had Jesus on the cross sucking a Roman soldiers C*ck.

 

These are funning in their eyes and it was as a result of the prefusion of these images and the constant jubes of "we are a peaceful people but if you do anything we don't like we'll kill you".

 

If we do not stand for freedom of speech, if we cannot discuss the fears of our people in the west. Then its already too late

I too felt proud when I saw all my fellow Brits of all creeds waving the flagg and cheering for England. Surely they were proud too. So where are they and why are they not asking for our help to get rid of these sick Zelots.

Hypocracy seems to be the main installed feature of this religion. As I have said before I anit against them. (everyone to their own) BUT! the proof is this. You give an inch and then they want a foot you give the foot they want a yard. And so on until they get the full mile. After that you are then under their rule and you become the minority. It has been said that they are the enemy within. This I have always thought to be propagander but now I aint so sure. I have no sensible answer to this problem but if something isnt done soon there will be fighting on the streets and that is what is going on over in Iraq and Iran and Palestine do we really want this over here. stop it now and nip it in the bud. This is not the place for Muslims to vent their rage against the world. This is somewhere that has given them the oppertunity to leave that all behind them and live in peace?

there is no winner to this arguement. if the newspapers were to withdraw for the cartoons then the radicals will have the upper hand, and would use that to exploit the situation further. however if the media do nothing at all then the whole islamic community will feel as if they are being bullied, and so create further tensions.

im not sure about muslims drawing cartoons of jesus though because im sure he is also a prophet for the muslims.
