Anyway, to the point. The other week a couple of BNP people were up in court for allegedly using words to incite racial hatred, yesterday there were muslims demonstrating in cities in this country calling for the heads of just about everyone and holding placards saying 'youre time will come' death to all against Islam' etc etc, or words to that effect . Now why havent the whole lot been arrested and carted off to Guantanamo? If they hate us this much why dont they fvck off somewhere else.

their was an asian guy on a local radio station who said he was in london at the time of the bombings last summer infact he reckond he was on the earlier tube to the one that got hit.

a couple of days later he had a bit of beard growth and he says people started looking at him funny :rolleyes: , anyway he decides to grow a full on beard and decides to do an experiment armed with an empty rucksack he goes out through london, on tubes, buses and on foot he couldnt believe how diferent people where looking at him andtreating him since the bombings.

If someone has no education and the idea of taking accountability for their actions is to much for them then religion is a great bandwagon to get on. 'You insulted my religion so i will blow you up' - thats easy to say, might make you feel good but your a loser if you think that. And these extremists give other arabic people a bad name. If you chat to people on the net from all over the world you realise that everyone has the same basic needs.

 

However the oil producing arab nations had better get there heads of out of there asses cos soon we wont need oil and if they dont educate and invest in there downtrodden people they will go back to the stone age and stay there.

I remember the last world cup when I saw asians and afroc/caribeans proudly flying the English flag along with decendants from other countries not native to England. For that short time I was more proud of this country than I have ever been. I was an Englishman surounded by his brothers and sisters supportig thier motherland's team, I truly donot feel I am racist, but highly patriotic. I dodnot care about your political, cultural athnic of social background. But the minute you insult my country, fook you and the sewer you decend from.

 

 

If i had to lay with the devil himself to rid this land of this cancerous scum I would. I dont deny other countries may have a beef with us over our actions that a polititians and buisnessmen have got us into. But I have respect that they love their country as much as I love mine.

In defence of muslims, I've met a fair few working in the University & most of them were great, really friendly & polite. It probably is a minority that are causing all this trouble but I agree, it does grip your sh!t when they're living here slagging us off :mad:

I usually don't get involved in these discussions and I haven't read everything that's been written above.

 

I normally think we should be reasonably tolerant of other peoples views and also firmly believe that "When in Rome ..." etc etc. However, I find it very difficult to be tolerant of a society|religion|organisation|person that is not tolerant themselves.

 

Freedom of speech is important, but that needs to be tempered against the diffence between expressing an opinion and outright insulting people. It was probably insensitive (or just plain ignorant) for those pictures to be published, BUT those nuances of sensitivity are not always understood in places where Islam is not the dominant faith. The protestors should accept that majority rules and minorities are tolerated, not the other way around. Declaring war (effectively) on the majority in a foreign land is seldom a wise approach, especially when the reason is essentially based on a misunderstanding.

I dont consider myself a racist but and i dont really like myself for saying this i feel i'm turning into one!!

 

All i can see happening is more and more people will side with the likes of the BNP etc and these people will gain more power, shame as i believe we can all co exist with no problems at all but are being pushed in a different direction.

 

Last thing i wanted to say is makes me laugh that its all about religion, part of it is but i bet when you dig right down it all comes down to one thing!!
