Only by phoning the DVLA and pretending you had an accident with the driver of vehicle reg +++++++ and that you have mis layed his details to be able to contact him and please could you have them.

I think he should be put in prison for not doing anymore damage to the corsa :wack: lol

just kidding ;)

bud the corsa keeps her from driving the zed

Once you report it to the poo lice, they'll class it as a hit and run, you should be able to get the details off the poo lice to forward to your insurance company.

If there is no damage to your vehicle then technically there is no recordable road traffic accident but the other vehicle should have stopped to find out whether there was damage or not. So, if there is no recordable RTA then there can be no offence committed of failing to stop... PITA but I can't see what can be done by the police?

The law states that you should stop at the scene of any accident you are involved in.

Im sure theres a way on the RAC website, i remember going on there and i looked to see wno had the reg A2 XTT (A ZX TT), it said it was on 300 already, but then again, it obviously doesnt give the name or address of the driver

I doubt the DVLA would give you the details due to DAP (data Protection Act).

You could go through the claims department at your insurance company however they must then open it as a claim (this may not be a great idea for when you go to another company)

Thje police can trace it (obviously) but whether they do or not is up to you really and like someone said if there's no damage how will you say someone crashed into your car?

Do you have the witnesses details?
