started my zx today and i think my engines nackerd lot of smoke on one side some oil coming out of dump valve still starts no problem.anybody help.i live in saltcoat ayrshire if ur passing. u mite no more than i do 01294602030 thanks peter

Maybee you have a fooked turbo, not that I am a zed expert of course.

My Zed usually goes to a garage in Ayr whom i have found to be very good with the Zed or any of my high performance cars?

I also have a mate who works from a garage in Darvel if its any good, the owner had a zed as did my mate and they do all kinds of performance car work. If it helps i could get the number.

Smoke on one side and the oil leak to me points to a turbo but as with cars they are a nightmare to work on.

it isn't a red one is it? if so i live just down the road from you mate. Don't know too much about the Turbo Z's or have any spares so i canny be much help to ye but if you need a hand or whatever geez a shout.

From Barrhead when I go into Darvel from the M77, I turned left off the main street at the start of Darvel. I cant for the life of me remember the name of the garage but I can vouch for work done on my GT4 that my father in law owns now and also another mates Scooby getting the belt changed. The guy that owns it is called Alan but if its any help to you I could get a contact number for you tomorrow from my mate who works there also.
