I have 1996 300zx automatic non turbo 2+0. So car starts up runs and drives but some times when hitting the gas pedal it feels like something is holding the car back the rpm’s get stuck around 2000rpms and car bogs down then other times cars runs fine rpm’s go up like normal no bogging. Could some green corroded wires for fuel pump be causing this issue? I also noticed the red wire going to pump doesn’t have much or any solder on it. Car has brand new 93 gas filled up all the way. I removed pump earlier and clean some of the connections with electrical contact spray and a small piece of sand paper and tommorow I plan on cleaning connections a little more and a little more solder on red wire. We have decided the location for the new Midlands meet will be The Sevices (donnington services ) At Junction 23A of the M1.
We have written permission from the owners in writting for the meet to take place
This is a pretty central location giving access from birmingham,leicester,nottingham,mansfield,derby sheffield and surrounding areas.
The date for the first meet will be Sunday Feb 5th at 12 miday.
I know this is short notice but it will be on a monthly basis
This will give us good daylight to see cars and faces and enable us to get some good pictures to post up and attract more members
There is also some good roads round and about for a leasurly drive through the country
We have invited members from Our club GTIR-OC
Also GTIR-Modifiers, SOX and SXOC
We would hope some of your members will be able to make thier presence known by attending the first meet
