I went to a cash point today and there was no where to park in the cash point car park so I parked in a car park directly opposite, as the cash point was 15' away from the car so I quickly walked to the cash point got money walked backed to the car and in the space of about 3 mins max a clamper was parked behind my car smiling saying I have clamped you and its going to cost you £70 to take it off :( I kept on saying I have only been gone 3 minutes etc, but no he would not take it off so I spent £70 parking for 3 minutes. He did say I could write to the address on the bottom of the reciept and appeal, which I have done but FFS :(

Just say they damaged you wheel and claim the cost of your expensive wheel re-furbishment back from them. If they don't pay do them for criminal damage.

yep same here its great around here ive never seen a clamper in my life  and i know all the traffic wardens so dont get tickets

my advice is sell up and move up north

sorry to hear that speedemon alot of clamps can be removed by letting some air out the tyre oh and as for claiming for damage to your wheel forget it, its a hard battle against these guys to get money out of them

My mate Dainton (From Dirty Sanchez....sorry to name drop) got clamped in Newport. He argued with the clamper for about 5 minutes and when he realised it wasn't getting him anywhere walked off to the cash point to get the money to pay him. 15 minutes go by and he comes back with and hands him the money and says "there you are mate, I suggest you count it". The clamper then counts the notes thoroughly about three times thinking whats this guy on. Dainton starts pissing himself and says "Thats the best £70 I've ever spent, you wanna know why?" "Every single note has been up my f**king arse!!" The clamper then realising his hands were covered in shit made a quick retreat.

I think they've gone back since and filmed a similar sketch with the rest of the guys.
